Factory Reset a Device. . . Made Easy
If you've ever had to reset your windows mobile device to its original factory settings, you'll probably agree with me when I say it requires yoga-flexible fingers and a touch of the Vulcan Death Grip to perform this operation. But SKTools provides a much easier way!
By default, the Hard Reset option is not enabled in SKTools, so the first thing you have to do is enable it:
- Open up SKTools
- Tap Tools > Settings > Main Settings > scroll down and highlight "Allow Hard Reset"
- Tap the down arrow to the right of the Allow Hard Reset box and select "Yes" (see Figure 1)
- Tap OK to go back to the main SKTools menu
Now, when you tap Tools > Reset > you'll find a Hard Reset option there (see Figure 2). When you tap Hard Reset, you'll be asked to verify that you want to perform the reset.

I am not sure if this option factory resets every device, but I have used it several times to factory reset my hw6925.

ProfJulie, a clean boot on the iPAQ 110 is almost impossible for one person. I have found re-installing the ROM accomplishes the same thing and is easier.
i have a miniphone m88 with windows mobile 6.1, how do i perform a hard reset.Thanks
Hard resets are different for every device. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the miniphone m88, so I don't know how to perform a hard reset on it. Have you checked the user documentation that came with the phone? Have you looked on the OEM website to see if you can find out how to do it?
