Copying Multiple contacts from the Pocket PC to the SIM card
SKTOOLs includes a SIM utility, called SIM Contacts, that lets you manage the contacts that are stored on your SIM card. You can use SIM Contacts to import the contacts from a text file or the Pocket PC's contacts database. To copy contacts from the Pocket PC to the SIM card:
- Open up SKTools, select SIM Contacts > Action menu > Copy from Contacts. SKTools converts all the phone numbers from the Outlook database into a checklist.
- Scroll through the list and place checkmarks in the box next to each phone number you want to copy to the SIM card or
- Alternatively, you can tap Tools > Toggle to select or deselect the entire list of Outlook contacts.
Finally tap Action (found on the lower left edge of the screen), then tap OK to copy the selected contacts to the SIM card
Since the SIM card can store only a limited number of contacts, copying all the Outlook contacts to the SIM card is not advisable. You may have more contacts stored in Outlook Contacts than the SIM card can accommodate. Selecting all contacts to copy to the SIM card could cause your Pocket PC to lock up (I know because I did it - luckily a soft reset set everything right).
