Julie,
I have recently been intrigued by PocketMax's phoneAlarm. There is a user on their forum who claims he has installed it on a 6925, but I tried and the installation failed. Could be the security SW my company has on the phone. But have you tried it?

Thanks,

I haven't installed it yet, but I will in the next couple of days and I'll be sure to let you know how it works out for me on my hw6925.

Rick, I installed Phone Alarm to my hw6925 and it installed with no problems. I used the pa_setup.exe file and installed it through ActiveSync. It looks like a really nice application...very feature rich, provides great information and provides quite a lot of user defined options. What kinds of problems have you encountered when you've tried to install this software?

Just thought I would see if you had heard anything about a2dp support becoming available for rx4240... I have had no luck and tried all heaps of patchs etc.. rang HP in australia and they are going to get back to me hopefully..

No, unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about a patch to make A2DP available on your rx4240. I don't know why this was not included on your rx4240. I've heard that HP is preparing a patch....I wish they would release it already! Let us know what you hear from HP in australia, and if I hear anything, I'll be sure to post an announcement here.

Spoke to HP in australia.... I was embarassed for them... they did not have a clue... they sent me a windows mobile 2003 cd and said that it has a bluetooth stack.... I gave up and put the earphones in a draw... a shame because I need them for work as a commercial electrican because I don't like cords that can get caught in drills etc.. if you hear any news I would love to get them going..
Kind regards

In a blog you indicated that your were looking for a replacement for desktop Outlook that synchs with Contacts in a WM5.0 device (RX1950). Did you find a suitable one? I do not use Outlook for anything but Contacts and would dearly like a replacement for it as I detest it.

Jake, I haven't found a suitable replacement for Outlook. I think Outlook 2007 is an improvement over Outlook 2003 and I'm also using an Addin to Outlook that provides a better user interface.
I'm glad you have found some useful information here. Like you, I love my Pocket PCs and use them every day.

I subscribed to your blog. It has much info that I will be useful. I love my RX1950 and use it a lot for storing vital info and for reading ebooks & listening to Audiobooks.
